Job summary

Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist I to support multiple patient service and inpatient/outpatient locations throughout the Charleston, SC area. This is a float position, so reliable transportation and flexibility to travel between locations are required.

The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of phlebotomy experience and be comfortable performing blood draws on both pediatric and geriatric patients.

Qualifications

• 1 year of direct phlebotomy experience
• Comfort performing blood draws on pediatric and geriatric patients

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and blood specimen collection accurately and safely.
• Perform pediatric and geriatric blood draws.
• Properly identify patients and specimens.
• Process, label, and handle specimens according to established procedures.
• Work independently at IOP locations and collaboratively at PSC locations.
• Maintain a professional and patient-focused environment.
• Follow all safety, compliance, and laboratory procedures.
• Travel between assigned locations as needed.
