Job summary

SpecialtyRx, Inc in Central Florida is seeking a licensed Pharmacy Technician to support long-term care facilities and assisted living communities. You will work under supervision, maintain accurate dispensing information, and address discrepancies to ensure proper billing.

The role requires prior pharmacy experience, familiarity with ADS systems (Pyxis, Omnicell), and strong math and data-entry skills. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are needed for travel across Florida.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Licensed FL Pharmacy Technician required.
• One year of pharmacy experience preferred (long-term care).
• Experience with ADS (Pyxis, Omnicell) and Data Entry.
• Able to troubleshoot ADS problems.
• Good organizational skills and detail oriented.
• Basic math and analytical skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Willing to drive long distances in Florida.

Responsibilities

• Able to work independently under the direction of a supervisor.

• Utilize reporting applications (myQlink, OmniCenter).
• Maintain accurate information at each ADS (Automated Dispensing System) (quantity and expiration date).
• Identify and address discrepancies to ensure proper billing.
• Replace potentially expiring inventory.
• Restock depleted inventory.
• Monthly audits (cycle count).
• Provide reports for the facility.
• Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor.

• Able to use various programs and applications efficiently and able to troubleshoot ADS problems.
• Good organizational skills and detail oriented.
• Basic math and analytical skills.
• Ability to physically perform light lifting.
• A valid driver’s license & car insurance and reliable transportation required.
• Willing to drive long distances in the State of Florida.
