Job summary

SpecialtyRx, Inc. in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a licensed Florida Pharmacy Technician to support operations in a long-term care setting. Under supervision, you will manage medication packaging, inventory, and workflow to ensure accurate dispensing.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to perform data entry, and adherence to safety policies. Evening shift 2:30pm-11:00pm with rotating weekends, introductory on-site training provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Licensed FL Pharmacy Technician required.
• Previous pharmacy experience preferred.
• Previous data entry experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be reliable and execute multiple tasks assigned.
• Good organizational skills and detail-oriented.
• Ability to physically perform light lifting.

Responsibilities

• Able to work under the direction of a supervisor.
• Experience working Controlled Drugs (Narcotics) room a plus.
• Maintains floor stock, restocking, removal of expired medications.
• Rotate stock of medication areas to assure quality controls.
• Prepack for floor bulk prescribed medications.
• Package fill and ship medications.
• Responsible for pharmacy standards, maintained and adherence policies.
• Team player and collaborate with others to support the goals of the pharmacy.
• Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor.
