Job summary

SPAN Construction & Engineering, Inc. seeks a Superintendent (Steel Erect Construction) to lead crews in erecting pre-engineered metal buildings across the United States.

This travel-heavy role requires coordinating with customers, design teams, subs, and suppliers to ensure safety, quality, and on-schedule delivery. Ideal candidates have 10+ years in construction, 5+ years in SE/PEMB, and strong supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred but not required; substantial substitution allowed.
• Minimum 10 years in construction with 5+ years SE/PEMB experience.
• 5+ years supervising steel building erection crews.
• OSHA 30 and First Aid certifications; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews in erecting pre-engineered metal buildings nationwide.
• Conduct weekly safety meetings and mentor site personnel.
• Coordinate with customers, design teams, subs, and suppliers.
• Travel extensively across the United States and internationally.
