Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced Pediatric Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Bloomington, IN. The role offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits, with a focus on high-quality, family-centered pediatric care.

Qualifications

• One year of pediatric RN experience is required.
• Valid RN license in the appropriate state.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures and treatments to children and families in an age-appropriate way.
• Administer prescribed medications with pediatric dosing considerations.
• Prepare and manage pediatric equipment and assist physicians during procedures.
• Ensure comfort and safety of pediatric patients and minimize distress.
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions and responses.
• Develop and implement patient and family education plans.
