The role focuses on comprehensive, age-appropriate care for children across clinical settings, with responsibilities including assessments, care planning, medication administration, and collaborative care with healthcare teams.

Required qualifications include 1 year of pediatric RN experience, active RN license, BLS, and PALS or ENPC certification. Preferred certifications like NRP may be beneficial.

Qualifications

• One year of pediatric RN experience.
• Valid RN license in state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certification.

Responsabilités

• Explain procedures to children and families to foster understanding.
• Administer prescribed medications with pediatric dosing.
• Prepare pediatric equipment and assist physicians during treatment.
• Ensure pediatric patient safety and comfort throughout care.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses in the medical record.
• Develop and implement patient and family education plans.
