Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Pediatric Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Templeton, CA. The role requires 1 year of acute care experience, NBRC-RRT, BLS, and ACLS certifications. PALS and NRP may be required in some areas.

Responsibilities include direct patient care, equipment maintenance, and accurate documentation. The position involves a 12-hour night shift, 36 hours per week, with a travel employment type.

Qualifications

• Peds-RRT with 1 year recent acute care experience required.
• Ability to perform arterial puncture and manage respiratory care procedures.
• Must maintain accurate patient records and adhere to procedural guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory and cardiology modalities to patients.
• Maintain and calibrate respiratory equipment; report malfunctions.
• Document patient care activities in medical records.
• Interact with nurses and physicians to optimize patient care continuum.
• Respond to emergent situations requiring respiratory support.
