Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Pediatric OR Registered Nurse in Indianapolis, IN for a 12-week assignment. The role involves perioperative care, OR setup, instrument handling, and collaborating with the surgical team to ensure patient safety.

Requirements include one year of pediatric OR experience, a valid RN license, BLS and either PALS or ENPC. The position offers competitive pay, benefits from day one, and access to a dedicated clinical support team.

Qualifications

• 1 year of pediatric OR RN experience.
• Valid RN license per state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current PALS or ENPC certifications.

Responsibilities

• Set up the operating room with instruments and sterile supplies for procedures.
• Assist in patient positioning and prepping for surgery, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Maintain sterile field and follow infection control protocols throughout procedures.
• Provide instruments and supplies to the surgical team as needed to maintain workflow.
• Monitor patient condition during surgery and report changes to the surgeon.
• Handle surgical instruments and supplies, including sterilization and disposal per protocol.
• Document perioperative care accurately and thoroughly.
• Participate in handoff communications pre- and post-operation.
