Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Stepdown/PCU assignment in Cleveland, Ohio. You will monitor cardiac and other vital signs, administer medications, and provide bedside care in a fast-paced PCU setting.

The position requires 1–2 years of acute care experience and current ACLS/BLS, with potential additional certifications. The role is travel-based, 12-hour shifts with a 36-hour workweek, and a tax-free stipend plan is noted.

Qualifications

• ACLS certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• NIH certification listed; additional certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medications; monitor for adverse reactions.
• Monitor equipment and interpret electronic displays; respond to changes.
• Lift up to 50 pounds; manage patient movement in a fast-paced setting.
