TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Wheeling, West Virginia. You will work 36 hours per week across 12-hour night shifts on the PCU/step-down unit, caring for patients requiring close monitoring.

ACLS, BLS, NIH and 1–2 years acute care experience are required. This travel assignment offers a fast-paced environment with diverse patient needs and opportunities for ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience.
• ACLS, BLS, NIH certifications required.
• Travel nursing credentials and readiness to start promptly.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters, start IVs.
• Administer and document prescribed meds; report adverse reactions.
• Monitor equipment and interpret electronic displays; initiate corrective action as needed.
