Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a travel nurse RN for the PCU – Progressive Care Unit in Wheeling, WV. This 13-week travel assignment requires 48 hours per week, with 12-hour night shifts, starting 11/02/2026.

As a Stepdown RN, you’ll monitor telemetry, administer medications, and work with the care team to ensure safe transitions from ICU to medical-surgical units. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits accompany dedicated clinical support.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Stepdown RN experience.
• Current valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitor telemetry and cardiac rhythms to detect abnormalities.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments with a cardiac focus.
• Prepare equipment and assist physician during cardiac procedures.
• Observe patients and document cardiac status and responses.
• Educate patients on cardiac health and lifestyle.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for telemetry care.
