Job summary

TotalMed is seeking a PCU RN for a travel assignment in Columbus, IN. The role focuses on progressive care and stepdown needs, with 12-hour nights and a 13-week duration. You will monitor cardiac patients, administer medications, and collaborate with the team to ensure patient safety in a fast-paced PCU setting.

Ideal candidates have 1-2 years of acute care experience, ACLS/BLS, and flexibility for travel. Weekly hours are 36 with a tax-free stipend potentially in addition to base pay.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years' recent acute care experience required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Additional certifications may be required before starting assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care and stabilize cardiac patients.
• Monitor patients and interpret vital signs and alarms.
• Administer prescribed medications and document responses.
• Operate and troubleshoot monitoring equipment and IVs.
• Collaborate with care team to ensure patient safety.
