Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Dayton, Ohio. The PCU RN will monitor cardiac patients, administer meds, and provide bedside care in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements include ACLS, BLS, NIH, and 1–2 years of acute care experience. This 13-week travel assignment offers 48 hours per week, 12-hour night shifts, and a tax-free stipend may apply.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, NIH required.
• 1–2 years recent acute care experience required.
• PCU/stepdown nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medication.
• Monitor equipment and interpret displays; adjust as needed.
• Communicate changes and intervene in emergencies.
