Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Rock Island, Illinois. You will work a 12-hour night shift, 36 hours per week, for a 13‑week contract in a PCU/step‑down setting.

Active RN license with a degree from an accredited nursing program is required, along with BLS and ACLS certifications. Eighteen months of recent PCU/step-down experience is preferred; other client-specific requirements may apply.

Qualifications

• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care PCU/Step-down setting
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility

Responsibilities

• Progressive Care Nurses (PCU) monitor cardiac and other critical vital signs and detect changes, enabling intervention of life‑threatening or emergency situations.
• Monitor and assess patients who aren't unstable enough to need ICU care; use computer equipment to monitor cardiac and other vital information and detect changes.
