Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU – Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Baltimore, Maryland. The PCU RN will care for patients who require close monitoring and frequent assessment, working 12-hour night shifts on a 13-week assignment.

This role requires ACLS/BLS and 1–2 years of acute care experience. The position offers a tax-free stipend and a competitive pay package based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years recent acute care experience.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Additional certifications may be required before assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care; stabilize cardiac patients.
• Monitor cardiac and vital signs using equipment and interpret displays.
• Administer prescribed medications and report adverse reactions.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Assist with monitoring equipment and respond to emergencies as needed.
