American Traveler is seeking an experienced PCU RN with current ACLS, BLS, and EPIC experience for a day shift assignment.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) of a hospital
• Patient ratios are currently 1:5, with a goal of 1:4
• 12-hour day shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• Assignment length can range from 14 to 52 weeks based on candidate preference
• Unit determined upon clinical evaluation and facility needs
• All travelers are expected to float as required within their level of acuity
• Utilizes EPIC EMR; previous EPIC experience required
• Primary responsibilities involve providing nursing care to intermediate care/PCU patients
• Assignment start date is flexible
• Travelers may request contracts longer than 13 weeks, up to 52 weeks
• Travelers may be placed on different PCU units based on clinical evaluation
