Job summary

TotalMed is seeking a Progressive Care Unit RN for a travel assignment in Washington, DC. The PCU RN will monitor and care for patients requiring close observation, with 12-hour rotating shifts and 36 hours per week for a 13-week assignment starting 11/23/2026.

The ideal candidate has ACLS/BLS certifications and 1–2 years of acute care experience. Duties include bedside care, IV starts, medication administration, and continuous monitoring of patient status.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• 1-2 years recent acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medications.
