Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The PCU RN will provide bedside care, monitor cardiac patients, administer medications, and use monitoring equipment. Requires 1–2 years of acute care experience and current ACLS/BLS.

This 20-week assignment offers 36 hours per week on day shifts (12 hours). As a travel nurse, you will work in a fast-paced environment with benefits including weekly pay and opportunities

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience.
• ACLS, BLS, NIH certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medications.
• Monitor equipment and interpret electronic displays.
• Initiate corrective action from monitoring data.
