Job summary

TotalMed RN in Greenville, NC is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU for a progressive care unit assignment. The PCU nurse will monitor cardiac and other vitals, provide medications, manage IVs, and respond to changes promptly in a fast-paced environment. Requires 1–2 years of recent acute care experience and certifications ACLS, BLS, NIH.

This travel role offers weekly pay, guaranteed hours, benefits start day one, and support for housing and travel logistics through TotalMed RN.

Qualifications

• ACLS required
• BLS required
• NIH (or equivalent) certification required
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent acute care experience

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize cardiac patients
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medication and monitor for adverse reactions
• Monitor and adjust equipment and interpret electronic displays
• Initiate corrective actions based on monitoring data
