Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Float PCU - Progressive Care Unit Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Salem, Oregon. The PCU Travel Nurse will care for patients requiring close monitoring, including cardiac care, with responsibilities spanning assessment, IVs, dressings, and medication administration.

This is a 15-week assignment with 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift. Ideal candidates have ACLS, BLS, and 1–2 years of acute care experience.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS required.
• 2+ years of recent acute care experience preferred.
• PCU travel RN role with 15-week duration and 36 hours/week.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care and stabilize patients.
• Monitor cardiac status and administer medications.
• Operate monitoring equipment and interpret vital signs.
• Follow step-down procedures for PCU patients.
