Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This PCU travel assignment is 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, nights, in a hospital setting. The right RN has 1-2 years recent acute care experience and ACLS/BLS certifications.

You will monitor patients requiring close observation and administer meds and IVs as needed. As with travel roles, you’ll enjoy a tax-free stipend, guaranteed hours, and weekly pay through TotalMed RN.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the United States (OK preferred).
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medications; report adverse reactions.
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment; interpret electronic displays.
• Initiate corrective actions based on monitoring results.
