Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Marquette, Michigan. The PCU RN will care for patients needing close monitoring and frequent assessment, often in a step-down setting, and will work 12-hour night shifts on a 13-week travel assignment.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of recent acute care experience and ACLS/BLS/NIH certifications. A tax-free stipend and travel pay are part of the compensation package, with benefits available.

Qualifications

• RN PCU travel nurse with 1–2 years of acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care; stabilize critical cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheter(s) and start IVs.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medication, reporting adverse reactions.
• Monitor and adjust equipment used on patients, and interpret and record electronic displays.
• Initiate corrective action based on monitoring data to address adverse symptoms.
