Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) RN for a travel assignment in Mesa, Arizona. The position is 13 weeks long, 36 hours per week, with 12-hour night shifts, and has an employment type of travel nursing.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of acute care experience, BLS and ACLS certifications. The PCU nurse provides close monitoring, medications administration, and rapid response to evolving clinical situations in a step-down setting.

Qualifications

• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years of RN clinical experience.
• Additional certifications may be required before starting.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care and stabilize patients in PCU.
• Monitor cardiac and other vital signs; interpret data.
• Administer medications and document responses.
• Manage IVs, dressings, and catheters as needed.
• T collaborate with care team in a fast-paced travel assignment.
