Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) travel nurse for an immediate opening in Prescott, AZ. This role requires 1–2 years of acute care experience and certifications in ACLS and BLS. The PCU nurse will monitor patients needing close observation and handle medications, IVs, and monitoring equipment in a fast-paced setting.

The position offers 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours per week, and a tax-free stipend with travel benefits. Start date is 11/02/2026 for 13 weeks.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of recent acute care experience required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize cardiac patients.
• Monitor and adjust patient care using medical equipment and IVs as prescribed.
• Administer prescribed medications and document responses.
• Stabilize patients during transitions and communicate patient status to team.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards in PCU setting.
