Job summary

TotalMed RN seeks a PCU RN for a travel assignment in Phoenix, AZ. The nurse will work a 36-hour week on 12-hour day shifts in the Progressive Care Unit, caring for patients who need close monitoring but not ICU care.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of acute care experience, BLS and ACLS certifications, and are prepared for a fast-paced environment. Travel RN roles include weekly pay, benefits, and guaranteed hours for a 13-week assignment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years recent acute care experience required.
• BLS, ACLS certifications commonly required.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Monitor equipment and interpret electronic displays; intervene as needed.
