Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU for a 13-week assignment in Kalispell, MT. The PCU RN will provide bedside care to patients requiring close monitoring, operate cardiac monitoring equipment, and titrate medications as prescribed.

Expect a 12-hour days shift on a travel assignment with 36 hours per week and a tax-free stipend may apply. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of recent acute care experience in a PCU setting, ACLS and BLS certifications, and the ability to work in a

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent acute care experience.
• PCU travel RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Prepare, administer and document prescribed meds and report adverse reactions.
• Monitor patient status using ECG and other monitoring equipment; interpret readings.
• Initiate corrective actions based on monitoring data.
