TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU for a travel nursing job in Kearney, Nebraska. The PCU role requires 1–2 years of acute care experience and involves 12-hour nights, 36 hours per week, and a 13-week assignment.

The PCU nurse will monitor cardiac and other vitals, manage medications, and provide bedside care in a step-down/PCU setting. ACLS/BLS/NIH certifications are important, with travel benefits and weekly pay included.

Formación

• ACLS certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• NIH certification (or equivalent) preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience.

Responsabilidades

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medications and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Monitor equipment and interpret electronic displays to detect changes.
• Initiate corrective actions based on monitoring data.
