Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) travel nurse for a Melbourne, Florida assignment. The RN will provide comprehensive patient care in a 12-hour night shift, 36 hours per week, for a 13-week contract.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years' acute care experience and current ACLS/BLS certifications. The role involves monitoring, medication administration, and IV management in a fast-paced PCU setting.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience required.
• Travel nurse assignment with 13 weeks duration and 36 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care and stabilize cardiac patients.
• Monitor cardiac data and vital signs; interpret alarms.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Administer and document prescribed medications; report adverse reactions.
