Job summary

TotalMed is seeking a PCU RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Johnstown, PA. The RN will work 12-hour nights, 36 hours per week, in the Progressive Care Unit, with 1.5+ years of acute care experience preferred.

ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications are required, and additional certifications may be needed before starting. As a PCU travel nurse, you will monitor cardiac and vital signs, titrate IV meds, and respond to changes with appropriate interventions.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, NIH certifications
• 1.5 years recent acute care experience required
• Travel RN role for PCU in Johnstown, PA

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize cardiac patients
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs
• Administer and document medications and report adverse reactions
• Monitor specialized equipment and interpret electronic displays
• Stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed
