TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Roanoke, Virginia. The PCU RN will monitor cardiac and vital signs, administer medications, and provide bedside care in a fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of recent acute care experience and possess ACLS and BLS certifications. This travel assignment covers 13 weeks with 36 hours per week, nights, and potential additional certifications required before starting.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required; NIH may be needed.
• 1 year of acute care experience preferred.
• Additional certifications may be required before starting.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care and monitor patients in PCU.
• Stabilize cardiac patients and administer medications.
• Document patient status and communicate changes to the team.
• Maintain readiness for rapid response in a fast-paced setting.
