Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Augusta, Georgia. The PCU role requires 1-2 years of acute care experience and offers a 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts.

As a PCU Travel Nurse you will monitor cardiac and vital information, perform bedside care, manage dressings, IVs, and medications, and respond to changes with timely interventions.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• 1-2 years of recent acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care for PCU patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters, start IVs.
• Prepare, administer and document prescribed medications.
• Monitor and adjust monitoring equipment and interpret displays.
• Initiate corrective action when monitoring shows adverse symptoms.
