Certifications Required/Preferred: - BLS (Basic Life Support) - ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) Licensure: - RN license is required to submit. Experience/Skills: - RNs are required to titrate drips. - Must pass a pass/fail RN exam with a score of 90% during orientation on skills learned. Attributes for Success: - Positive attitude, good communication skills, critical thinking, and ability to problem solve. Education: - BSN preferred, but not required. Driver's License: - Required at submittal to determine if the candidate is outside the 50-mile radius rule. Additional Clinical Requirements: - Ability to work with adults and geriatric patients with cardiac, nephrology, and stroke conditions, as well as manage DM and continuous EEG monitoring. - Familiarity with titratable drips such as Cardizem, beta-blockers, and seizure medications. Clinical Environment: - Acute care setting with a focus on teamwork and support.
