Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) travel nurse in Warren, OH for a 13-week assignment. The RN will work 12-hour nights, typically 36 hours per week, in a fast-paced PCU setting caring for acutely but not ICU-level patients.

Ideal candidates have 1-2 years of recent acute care experience and current ACLS/BLS certifications. You will monitor patients, titrate IV meds, and respond to changes in condition while collaborating with the care team.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of recent acute care experience required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Ohio RN license or eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs.
• Prepare, administer, and document prescribed medications with adverse reaction reporting.
