Job summary

Trinity Health's FirstChoice program seeks experienced RNs for flexible, premium-paid travel assignments across the health system. Positions involve night shifts with 3x12 hours and are based at Trinity Health Ann Arbor, MI. Start date ASAP for 13 weeks, with statewide/national opportunities available.

RNs must hold valid licensure in the applicable state(s) and have 18+ months Med Surg/Tele/PCU experience (or 2+ years for other specialties). BLS/ACLS/PALS credentials are required.

Qualifications

• RN licensure valid in applicable state(s) of practice.
• Minimum 18 months of recent Med Surg, Tele or PCU clinical experience.
• Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience for other specialties.
• Credentials per specialty area (ACLS, TNCC, etc) and BLS/ACLS/PALS per American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Float across hospital locations and regions as needed.
• Provide nursing care per professional standards and license.
• Assess, identify outcomes, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to support quality improvement.
• Demonstrate agility and willingness to take on new responsibilities.
• Adapt to different practice settings and patient populations.

Gross Weekly Rate: $2628

** Only for nurses coming to Michigan from out of state, over 60 miles from home to hospital. You cannot work in the same metropolitan area greater than 12 months in order to receive this rate. **

Position Purpose:

What you will do:

• Qualified and willing to float throughout the hospital and/or throughout multiple hospital locations and/or regions
• Knows, understands, incorporates & demonstrates standard elements of professional practice: Assess, Outcomes Identification / Solutions, Plan, Implement, Evaluate
• Acts independently & appropriately within license, scope of knowledge & experience in practice area
• Retains accountability for delegation, choices, decisions & outcomes
• Collaborates with key stakeholders & contributes to quality & improvement practices & outcomes
• Exhibits agility & willingness to take on new & additional responsibilities
• Embraces new ideas & cultural differences while managing competing priorities

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice/employment.
• Minimum of eighteen (18) months of recent clinical experience for Med Surg, Tele and PCU.
• Minimum two (2) years of recent clinical experience for all remaining specialties including Critical Care, Surgical Services, Maternal Services, Emergency Department and Behavioral Health.
• Required to have and maintain the credentials required per their specialty area (ex: ACLS, TNCC, etc). BLS, ACLS and PALS must be obtained through American Heart Association
