Job summary

TotalMed is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU in Worcester, MA for a 10-week assignment. This PACU RN will support post-anesthesia recovery, handle patients from pediatrics to adults, and work 40 hours per week on an evening 10-hour shift.

ACLS and BLS required; 1 year of acute care experience preferred. This travel role may include a tax-free stipend and shift-based pay depending on assignment details.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years recent acute care experience.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Travel RN assignment with 10-week duration.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide observation and care for post-op patients recovering from anesthesia.
• Develop individualized care plans based on patient condition and monitor changes.
• Determine when patients have recovered and are ready to transfer to a room.
• Care for pediatric to adult patients in the PACU and respond to emergencies as needed.
