Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU – Post Anesthesia Care for a 13-week assignment in San Ramon, California.

The PACU RN will provide observation and care for post-op patients as they recover from anesthesia, working 10 hours per day, 40 hours per week in a fast-paced environment.

ACLS and BLS are required; 1–2 years of acute care experience preferred to join a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• 1–2 years of acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide observation and care for post-op patients as they recover from anesthesia.
• Monitor patients for changes and report to physicians.
• Determine when patients are stable enough to transfer to a room or discharge.
• Adapt care plans for pediatric to adult patients in a fast-paced PACU setting.
