Job summary

TotalMed is seeking a PACU RN for an immediate travel assignment in San Leandro, CA. You will provide observation and care for post‑op patients as they recover from anesthesia, with shifts of 8 hours, days, for 13 weeks, 40 hours per week.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of acute care experience, ALCS and BLS certifications, and a readiness to work in a fast‑paced PACU environment. Travel RN role with tax‑free stipend details pending.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• 1–2 years of acute care experience.
• PACU nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide observation and care for post‑op patients as they recover from anesthesia.
• Develop individualized care plans based on patient condition.
• Monitor patients for changes and report to physician.
• Determine when patients are ready to transfer to a room.
