TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Fairfield, California. The PACU RN will observe and care for post-op patients as they recover from anesthesia and will work 8-hour day shifts on a travel assignment.

Requirements include ACLS, BLS, and 3+ years of acute care experience. The role involves lifting and standing for long periods in a fast-paced environment, with a tax-free stipend and 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• 3+ years of acute care experience is preferred.
• Additional certifications may be required before starting assignment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor post-anesthesia patients as they recover from surgery.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient condition.
• Monitor for adverse reactions and notify physicians as needed.
• Assess recovery status and determine readiness to transfer to a room.
