TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in San Francisco, California. The role involves caring for post-anesthesia patients, with a 13-week duration and a 40-hour work week.

The PACU RN will handle a broad range of patients, develop care plans, monitor for condition changes, and determine when patients are ready to move to a room. ACLS/BLS/PALS certifications and at least 2 years of RN experience are required.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years RN experience in PACU or related area
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Provide observation and care for post-op patients as they recover from anesthesia.
• Monitor patients for changes and report to physician.
• Develop individualized care plans based on each patient's condition.
