Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Level I Trauma-experienced PACU RN for a 13-week assignment in Philadelphia, PA. Requires PA or compact RN licensure, ACLS/BLS/PALS/TNCC, and on-call availability. Day shifts 3x12 hours with potential cross-facility float.

Travelers commonly receive stipends and benefits; local radius requirements may apply. Start date around Oct 5, 2026, with an anticipated 13-week duration.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of Critical Care or PACU experience required.
• Level I Trauma experience and ICU background required.
• Teaching hospital experience preferred.
• SICU/MICU/CTICU experience preferred.
• Active RN license PA or compact required at consideration.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care in pre-op and post-op settings.
• Work in PACU unit of Level I Trauma teaching hospital.
• Manage patient care with 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio.
• On-call shifts: 2 weekdays and 1 weekend within 6-week cycle.
