Job summary

TotalMed is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a 16-week assignment in Atlanta, GA. The PACU RN will provide care for post-operative patients as they recover from anesthesia and coordinate with the surgical team.

Requirements include ACLS, BLS, NIH certifications and 1–2 years of acute care experience. Position features 36 hours per week, 12-hour evenings shifts, and a tax-free stipend; travel experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience.
• ACLS and BLS certifications, NIH credentials.

Responsibilities

• Observe and care for post-op patients recovering from anesthesia.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and report to physician.
• Determine when patients are recovered and ready to move to a room.
• Handle a broad range of patients from pediatrics to adults.
