Job summary

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU in Hyannis, Massachusetts for a 13-week assignment with 40 hours per week. The role focuses on delivering patient care in the PACU using the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring responses, and guiding support staff while upholding professional standards in a hospital setting. On-call duties extend to off-shift, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current MA RN license required.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Successful passage of Pharmacology and Basic Arrhythmia exams.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
• Experience in ICU, CVICU, CVPA, ER or PACU/SDC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Administer and monitor responses to medications.
• Direct and supervise ancillary staff while maintaining professional standards.
• Deliver care with rotating 8-hour shifts, minimum 40 hours/week.
• Participate in on-call duties, weekends, and holidays.
