Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Salem, Massachusetts. You will provide observation and care for post-op patients recovering from anesthesia, while coordinating with the surgical team.

The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of acute care RN experience and can work a 10-hour rotating shift on a 13-week assignment. ACLS, BLS, and PALS are required; additional certifications may be needed before starting the assignment.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience.
• Additional certifications may be required before start.

Responsibilities

• Assess and care for post-anesthesia patients in PACU.
• Develop individualized plans based on patient condition.
• Monitor for changes and report to physician.
• Determine when patients are ready to transfer to a room.
