TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Salem, Massachusetts. The PACU RN will provide observation and care for post-op patients as they recover from surgical anesthesia, serving as a crucial step between surgery and recovery.

You will monitor patients, develop care plans, and report changes to the physician. Position requires ACLS/BLS/PALS certifications and 1-2 years of acute care experience.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications required.
• 1-2 years recent acute care experience.
• Travel nursing assignment in Salem, MA with PACU responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide observation and care for post-anesthesia patients as they recover from surgery.
• Develop individualized care plans based on each patient's condition.
• Monitor critical patients for condition changes and report to the physician.
• Determine when patients are recovered and ready to move to a room.
