American Traveler is seeking an experienced PACU RN for a travel assignment in Glen Dale, West Virginia. Must hold a WV or compact RN license and active ACLS/BLS/NIHSS/PALS/TNCC certifications, with at least 2 years of RN experience in acute care PACU.

You will work four 10-hour day shifts with start times of 6a, 7a, or 8a, plus rotating call one night per week and weekend/holiday coverage. Travel and licensure reimbursements are included.

Qualifikationen

• Coronary care experience preferred.

Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced PACU RN with a WV or compact license and advanced cardiac life support certifications for an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Work in an acute care hospital in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
• Patient care focuses on post-surgical recovery and monitoring
• Uses MEDITECH 6.0 EMR system
• Four 10-hour day shifts per week with flexible start times (6a, 7a, or 8a)
• Rotating call required one night per week (3p to 7a)
• Weekend and holiday rotation required (every 5th weekend, Friday 3p to Monday 7a)
• Monitor experience is required for this role
• Responsibilities include post-anesthesia patient care and monitoring of recovery progress
• RNs participate in a rotating call schedule and holiday coverage
• Returning RN travelers to this health system require a two-year break before reapplying
• Travelers may not work within WVU facilities longer than one year without a subsequent two-year break
• Scrub or dress code requirements are not specified

Requirements
