American Traveler is seeking a Travel RN to work in the PACU (Post Anesthesia Care) in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. Start date 12/29/2025 for 13 weeks, 40 hours per week with 10-hour day shifts. This travel assignment requires a WI or Compact RN license and at least one year of PACU experience.

Responsibilities include caring for patients recovering from anesthesia, responding to on-call calls, and collaborating with hospital teams in a fast-paced environment. Travel experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active WI or Compact RN license required.
• Minimum of one year PACU RN experience required.
• Prior travel nursing experience required.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS.
• First-time travelers will not be considered.

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU position requiring at least one year of experience and a WI or Compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) of a hospital
• Care for patients recovering from anesthesia following surgical procedures
• Shifts are 4x10 hours on days or evenings (7:00-17:00 or 12:30-23:00)
• On-call required approximately 4-5 times per month with additional weekend call
• Local candidates are accepted
• Provide post-anesthesia care and monitoring for surgical patients
• Must be prepared to respond to calls during scheduled on-call shifts
• Work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
