Job summary

Sweetwater Care is seeking a Travel Occupational Therapist Assistant to provide therapy services across California. You will work under supervision of a licensed OTA, delivering personalized interventions and helping patients regain daily living skills while exploring diverse clinical settings.

This role offers flexible contracts (minimum 13 weeks), travel stipends, and opportunities for growth in a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Valid OTA license required.
• New Grads Accepted!
• Ability to adapt quickly to different environments and patient needs.
• Positive, patient-centered attitude with strong communication skills.
• Willingness to travel and explore various locations across California.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering personalized occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Help patients develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for daily living and work activities.
• Support treatment plans for patients with physical, developmental, or emotional disabilities.
• Educate patients and families on exercises and techniques to enhance daily function.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
