Job summary

Sweetwater Care is seeking a Travel Occupational Therapist Assistant to provide occupational therapy services across California locations. This role offers flexible contracts (minimum 13 weeks) and travel stipends to support your adventures while you help patients regain daily living skills.

As a licensed OTA, you will collaborate with supervising therapists, adapt to diverse clinical settings, and educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises.

Qualifications

• Valid OTA license.
• New grads accepted.
• Ability to adapt quickly to different environments and patient needs.
• Positive, patient-centered attitude with strong communication skills.
• Willingness to travel across California.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Help patients develop, recover, and improve daily living and work skills.
• Support treatment plans for patients with physical, developmental, or emotional disabilities.
• Educate patients and families on exercises and techniques to enhance daily function.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
