TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist Assistant for a travel assignment in Danville, California. The role involves 35 hours per week, a 13-week duration, and supervision by an OT to implement treatment plans across all ages.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• The ideal candidate must hold a current BLS and COTA National certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapeutic activities and interventions under the supervising OT.
• Monitor patient progress and report observations to the OT to support treatment plan adjustments.
• Document patient performance and progress accurately and in a timely manner per facility and state guidelines.
• Assist patients with exercises, mobility training, and use of adaptive equipment.
• Educate patients and families on techniques to improve independence in daily activities.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment areas and equipment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support coordinated care.
• Comply with state licensing rules and adhere to facility and professional standards.
