Genesis HealthCare, Inc. is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant - Journey Traveler to support nationwide 13-week assignments, delivering OT services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist across diverse settings.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited OTA program per AOTA/ACOTE standards.
• NBCOT certification obtained.
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure in the state of practice.
• Available to travel and temporarily reside outside the primary home.

Responsibilities

• Travel nationwide for 13-week assignments.
• Implement OT programs and provide treatments under supervision of an OT.
• Attend patient care conferences and required meetings.
• Deliver rehab services in line with the plan of care and schedule.
• Collaborate with rehabilitation team to develop patient programs.
• Instruct patients and caregivers in OT techniques.
• Maintain timely documentation for all patients.
• Maintain and report equipment needs and repairs.
• Organize treatment groups in consultation with the OT.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Education

Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant

NBCOT certification

State licensure eligible
